The tongue bow has a special, flattened shape of the bow. This gives the tongue an optimal amount of space. Many horses react to this with improved looseness and increased chewing activity. But the bit is also very suitable for so-called tongue players, who try to stick their tongue over the bit, because the bow effectively prevents this. This mouthpiece is therefore excellent for horses that do not like to tolerate conventionally shaped bits because of the pressure on the tongue and react with head banging or similar. The shape and weight of the side pieces ensures a very calm, neutral position in the mouth. This characteristic makes the bit wonderfully suitable for young horses that are still somewhat inexperienced. They are also given optimal lateral support and guidance by the shape of the side part.
