The olive head bit is a universally applicable mouthpiece, it lies very quietly in the horse's mouth and the lateral olives effectively prevent the lips from being pinched. The bit lies perfectly in the mouth due to its slight curvature. Pressure on the reins changes the angle of the mouthpiece in the mouth and, due to its special shape, leads to increased action on the lower jaw load and tongue. The sculpted transition from the mouthpiece to the bit rings makes it impossible to pinch the lips and also gives the bit a particularly stable lateral hold. The shape of the bit is particularly suitable for working with young horses.
