Integrated, oval bit plates with a carefully modeled transition to the middle piece prevent the lips from being pinched and also give the bit particularly good lateral support. The loose running ring means greater mobility of the bit in the mouth. The water snaffle is therefore a bit for horses that prefer a more 'mobile' bit in the mouth. In the copper bushings, the ring runs very smoothly and significantly increases the life of the bit due to better durability.
