The tongue bow has a special, flattened shape of the bow. This gives the tongue an optimal amount of space. Many horses react to this with improved looseness and increased chewing activity. But the bit is also very suitable for so-called tongue players, who try to stick their tongue over the bit, because the bow effectively prevents this. This mouthpiece is therefore excellent for horses that do not like to tolerate conventionally shaped bits because of the pressure on the tongue and react with head banging or similar. The loose running ring means greater mobility of the bit in the mouth. The water snaffle is therefore a bit for horses that prefer a more 'mobile' bit in the mouth. In the copper bushings, the ring runs very smoothly and significantly increases the life of the bit due to better durability.
