Thus, they hinder meaningful treatment of the underlying pathogens. Extremely thin-bodied oils of KERALIT Keralysin Ointment infiltrate and soften these scab layers and detach them. These can then be gently removed without mechanical irritation or injury to the skin, often after only 1 overnight application. Additionally prescribed disinfectants or healing preparations can only then reach their optimal effect. KERALIT Keralysin Ointment has proven to be very useful, especially for Friesians or other horses with long hangings in the bend of the fetlock, as it was not necessary to remove the hangings for treatment.
