Steel bit 2x bent FAGER Tim Sweet Iron
Handmade steel bit, 2x bent, anatomically shaped, made of mild steel. It is a modified version of the popular Alexander bit. The team is allowed to compete in dressage. The bit has free rings that rotate. This ensures greater freedom of the bit in the horse's mouth, relieving pressure from the corners and discouraging the horse from bucking into the bit, allowing the rider to react quickly and efficiently.
The joints of the bit are angled at 45 degrees and can be used in two ways.
With the logo on the right side - the horse faces forward:
When the reins are shortened, the knuckles put more pressure on the tongue, but as soon as the reins loosen, there is an immediate release of pressure. This is suitable for sensitive horses that require a quick reaction.
With the logo on the left side - the horse is upside down and facing forward:
The joints follow the shape of the tongue and exert gentler pressure on it. This is suitable for sensitive horses who need light but precise signals.
The Fager bit design is straight to maintain a balance point in the horse's mouth. If the bits are slightly bent forward, the balance point will also shift, slowing down the horse's response to the rider's instructions.
