A well-fitting saddle protects the horse’s back and gives the rider a stable, balanced seat. Browse jump saddles with shoulder freedom, dressage saddles with deeper seats and longer blocks, and GP saddles for everyday work. Key checks: seat size (typically 16”–18”), gullet width (N–XW), panel filling (wool vs latex/air) and flap design (mono/double). Ensure wither clearance, even contact and free shoulder movement. Pair with the right girth (short for dressage, long for jump/GP) and a suitable saddle pad or correction pad to fine-tune balance.
