Adam Leather bit Baby pelham
Handmade Fager leather bit. The ideal bit for horses that do not tolerate metal bits in their mouths or have damaged teeth. The leather adapts well to the shape of the horse's mouth, so the bit fits well. The bits are highly flexible.
Handmade bits with a guarantee of the highest possible quality. The bit consists of wire covered with nylon, which is hand-stitched with leather. In this way, it is ensured that even in the event of an accident, the horse cannot be injured by the bit. The wire as reinforcement of the bit guarantees greater safety for both horse and rider and at the same time preserves the shape of the bit.
The advantage of the bit is that the rider can choose the intensity of the bit. By attaching the reins to the upper ring, the bit acts more gently, by attaching the reins to the lower ring of the arm, it adds leverage. The bit can be used with one or two reins. If you prefer to use a pelham coupling, only one rein is used. With two reins, you immediately get the ability to choose the strength of the bit by shortening or lengthening the rein that is connected to the lower ring. If you add pressure to the lever reins, the bit will work harder and the horse's neck will lower. With a pelham coupling you get the same effect without having to use two reins.
The baby pelham bit helps to melt the frame for a horse that tends to be unstable but strong at the same time.
Vegetable oils were used in the processing of the leather - no harmful chemicals or dyes are used.
If the bit dries out, we recommend soaking it in food-grade paraffin oil.
Before use, make sure that the seams on the outside of the bit do not press against the corners of the sponge.
Leather bits are not suitable for horses that significantly chew the bit. A bit that has been bitten is not covered by the warranty and cannot be claimed or exchanged for another one.
