The olive head bit is a universal mouthpiece, it lies very quietly in the horse's mouth and the lateral olives effectively prevent the lips from being pinched. The second rein on the pull-on snaffle causes the bit to tilt and pull up in the mouth gap when more pressure is applied. This means increased action. Very good for horses that tend to lay on the bit. Can also be used on horses to achieve increased straightening.
