The tongue bow has a special, flattened shape of the bow. This gives the tongue an optimal amount of space. Many horses react to this with improved looseness and increased chewing activity. But the bit is also very suitable for so-called tongue players, who try to stick their tongue over the bit, because the bow effectively prevents this. This mouthpiece is therefore excellent for horses that do not like to tolerate conventionally shaped bits because of the pressure on the tongue and react with head banging or similar. The Pelham- a classic with a more elegant design refined by us. When accepting the reins, the bit acts on the mouth, lower jaw and neck. Depending on the lever length of the reins (5 cm or 7.5 cm), a different and immediate bite angle in the mouth can be achieved. Possible use with horses that have difficulty going through the nape of the neck, with 'hot' horses or also with horses that need clear action in critical situations (jabbing or similar). The pelham is supplied with chin chain hook.
