Bit with fixed rings made of stainless steel, 2x bent with a special lock function. The shape of the bit provides more space for the tongue and locks upwards, which is suitable for horses with a low palate and a sensitive edge of the jaw and tongue. The joints of the bit do not lock in the forward direction as in conventional bits with a lock function. Even after locking the joints, Kevin does not resemble an unbroken bit.

The joints rotate away from the tongue, so a gentler, smoother pressure is applied to the tongue. This is suitable for horses that overreact to the shortening of the reins and at the same time need support in maintaining constant contact.

We recommend the Kevin bit if you are looking for a gentle bit for sensitive horses.

Fixed rings are more permanent than loose ones, the contact with the horse is more direct and precise. It is recommended when the horse is more reluctant to contact.

The Fager Basic line range of bits guarantees the same quality and sophisticated design that we expect from Fager bits. Affordable stainless steel.

Suitable for horses that:

they are sensitive to fungus, but they harden too much on unbroken bits
they overreact to contact with the reins
they are unstable to adhesion
they have a problem with release
