Perfect Equi SUPERFIT is a premium feed for horses that need special nutrition with a low content of sugars and starches. It is literally packed with superfoods and antioxidants with a positive effect on health, vitality, the immune system and the proper functioning of the metabolism.

It contains, for example, three types of algae - marine and freshwater (spirulina, kelp and calcified seaweed), fenugreek, aronia, milk thistle and hemp. It has an extra content of limiting amino acids, which makes Superfit very suitable even for horses with PSSM or MIM.

Macro and micro elements are supplemented in organic form and in the form of highly effective and absorbable bioplexes.

THANKS TO ITS COMPOSITION AND CONTENT OF ACTIVE SUBSTANCES, IT SUPPORTS:

reduction of blood sugar
conversion of fats into energy
growth of muscle mass
beautiful coat, mane and better quality of hooves
immune system
regeneration

EASY TO FEED HORSES OR SHOULD OVERWEIGHT HORSES BE FEEDED WITH SOMETHING ELSE??

YES! Just because a horse is fat does not mean that it does not need high-quality and healthy nutrition.

Overweight horses primarily need good management and nutrition. Sufficient exercise and nutrients are the basis for losing weight or maintaining fitness.

Regular exercise is one of the key ingredients for success, because without exercise, an animal will hardly be in good physical and often mental condition, which is compounded by other problems. Therefore, if the horse's health allows it, pay close attention to this necessary part of horse health care or at least adapt it to the limited possibilities of the individual.

Keeping a horse in a properly built trekking stable can also be a good helper.

Grazing - limiting or completely eliminating grazing is often necessary, because in obese or sick horses, reducing sugars and starches in the total feed ration plays a crucial role - including grass and hay. Grazing can be limited by timing and also by using a suitable grazing muzzle.

Hay should be given in smaller portions several times a day, or in nets with small meshes, so that the intake is slowed down and the horse does not overeat. Attention - even a fat horse must not starve!!! A horse should not be without roughage for more than 4 hours, due to the risk of stomach ulcers. Hay suitable for obese horses is "poorer quality" hay - older or overripe (fine, green hay full of leaves is not a good option, on the contrary, coarse, longer stalks, hay that has been wet once, is what you should look for. But be careful here too - poorer quality hay does not mean moldy hay, that should never be the case under any circumstances.

Nutrition - even a fat horse needs enough nutrients so that the organism can function well overall. With fat horses, the pitfall can be that the owner believes that his horse is fat, so he does not need anything for hay, because "he even grows from thin air". And that even hay has a little bit of it. But the truth is that even a fat horse can be malnourished and that can be one of the reasons for its obesity... Also, the result of losing weight or dieting should not be a thin horse, with sagging muscles, with weakened immunity due to malnutrition (lack of necessary nutrients), but on the contrary, a horse that is well-fed, in good mental and physical condition, muscular, resilient and vital.

Mental well-being - good facilities, plenty of exercise, a conflict-free herd and correct treatment when working with the horse.

Horse care must always be comprehensive, one will not work without the other. Quality nutrition + proper management and approach to the horse = a satisfied horse. A satisfied horse = a more willing horse, a healthier horse = a satisfied owner! :)

WARNING:

Not suitable for pregnant and lactating mares (in case of pregnancy, choose Vida Vital or the Complete+ supplement).
Due to the hemp content, it may contain substances considered to be doping for horses.
Do not give any other mineral supplements, mineralized feeds or mineral licks!!
It is possible to add livestock feeds or feed mixtures or protein concentrates to SUPERFIT (here with regard to the already high content of amino acids in this feed) without the premix content. It is also possible to add oils (suitable oils for horses are linseed, rapeseed, hemp or sea buckthorn). The only exceptions to mineral supplements are selenium, vit. E and magnesium in the case of needs in a specific individual with specific needs, such as a horse with MIM or due to a higher load than light load - increased needs must always be determined by a specialist based on the results of the examination (veterinarian, nutritionist). Only give classic, white salt, without added iodine.

TIP: from May to September, offer horses loose salt (for example, sea salt without iodine) in a separate trough and let them take as much as they need. Because in the warm months, the need for salt can be really high, even if the horse has only a very light load. The horse can adjust how much salt it really needs and it may not be realistic to lick as much as it needs from a cube. In case of higher salt requirements due to stress, give your horse this option all year round.

Store in a cool, dark and dry place. Close the bag carefully and place it on a mat or ideally in a protective container.
Protect from humidity
In case of long-term use of medication or autoimmune disease, consult your veterinarian
